Dr. Gloria Zhang is a distinguished scientist, entrepreneur, and an adjunct University professor. Over the past, Dr. Zhang served as the Founder and President of BioVision, Inc., a biotech company in the SF Bay area, which develops and manufactures innovative products for biomedical research and drug discovery markets. BioVision was successfully acquired by a public company in early 2018. Dr. Zhang continued following her passion serving as the Founder and President of AbVision, Inc., a biopharmaceutical company that develops immunotherapies for cancer and infectious diseases to save lives. Dr. Zhang has extensive experiences in biotechnology product development, global marketing and business operations, as well as the team management and leadership skills. Dr. Zhang obtained her Ph.D. in Cell Biology and Postdoctoral studies in Molecular Medicine. Dr. Zhang is the co-inventor for numerous patents on immunotherapy and vaccine development, etc., and published numerous scientific papers in the highest impact journals such as Nature. Dr. Zhang has been honored for numrous research grants and professional awards such as the HHMI Grant, the Small Business Innovation Research Grant (SBIR), the Outstanding Researcher Award, and won the prestigious R&D 100 Award.
