Job Description and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the R&D related lab work of cancer immunotherapy
- Implementation of in vitro functional studies for human and mouse immune cells (T and B cells, DC etc.), and in vivo efficacy animal studies.
- Responsible for implementing multiple emerging technology platforms for next generation of therapeutic antibody, vaccine and cell therapy
- Guide team members to carry out work and input for building product pipelines
- Draft writing for patent and regulatory filings for drug candidates
- Responsible for strategic collaboration and CRO communication worldwide
Qualifications/Requirement:
- Ph.D. degree or non-Ph.D. with a minimum of 3 years of related experience in Immunology/cell biology with specific research interests focused on immune-oncology.
- Extensive experience in human immune cell-based functional assays and experimental techniques of immunology, such as human primary cell culture and activation, flow cytometric analysis, cytotoxicity, cytokine assays, etc.
- Familiar with molecular approaches for genetic engineering of immune cells, antibody engineering, and library expression and screening etc.
- Experience in small animal handling and animal models is preferred.
- Experience in protein expression and purification, SDS-PAGE, HPLC etc. is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and able to design and advance project independently.
- Work proactively to resolve issues. A good team player and management skills.
- Able to adapt a fast-paced environment. “Do what it takes” attitude and highly motivated.
- Industry-experience is a plus
